In this ceiling, I saw more than just architectural grandeur — I saw the inner map of the mind. “The Beauty of Distraction” is a photographic meditation on how we seek order while living in chaos. The symmetry I emphasize is not about perfection, but about our attempt to restore inner alignment through visual balance. The mind craves stillness, and symmetry gives it a place to rest — a mirror of structure in the whirlwind of sensations.

This fine art mural is presented in two identical panels not for decorative effect, but to evoke the inner duality we all carry. Each half reflects the other — yet remains distinct. Just like distraction and focus, anxiety and calm, memory and presence. When displayed together, they create a silent dialogue: an invitation to pause, breathe, and look upward — literally and metaphorically.

На этом потолке я увидела не только архитектурное великолепие, но и внутреннюю карту человеческого сознания. «Красота отвлечения» — это фотографическая медитация о стремлении найти порядок в мире, полном шума. Симметрия, на которой я делаю акцент, — не символ идеала, а способ вернуть внутреннюю ось через визуальный ритм. Разум утомлён, он жаждет покоя — и симметрия становится точкой опоры в вихре ощущений.

Фотомурал состоит из двух симметричных панелей не ради эстетики, а чтобы передать внутреннюю двойственность: как отвлечение и сосредоточенность, тревога и тишина, память и настоящее. В паре они создают молчаливый диалог — приглашение остановиться, вдохнуть и взглянуть вверх. Буквально — и символически.
